About

Hiya, I’m Georgina and I run Grub Productions.

I’ve been working in film and photography for 15 years.

Originally I dreamt of making wildlife documentaries with David Attenborough and spent many years working in wildlife conservation and animal welfare – I ran the picture desk, developed video guidelines, trained colleagues and learnt to film, produce and edit.

After I left London and relocated to Dorset I started Grub Productions. Taking everything I’ve learnt to help small businesses and charities get going with video.

I can create content for you or show you how to capture it for yourself, strategically and in a consistent manner. I have a friendly and realistic approach, whether you want hand holding or a kick up the backside!

BTW I did get to meet David Attenborough, TWICE! But that’s another story.

Why are you called ‘Grub’?

Grub is actually named after a bed of Purbeck stone, packed full of fossilised shells. It’s a nod to my in-laws; a long-line of stonemasons who still quarry on the beautiful Jurassic coast in Dorset where I’m mostly based.

Plus I love that grub has other meanings too like food and larvae – it’s all about taking something raw and transforming it into something else!
